At Trinity we believe that an effective Christian school environment requires a positive teacher-student relationship, built on Scriptural truths and mutual respect. This includes the forgiveness and trust that are essential to make teaching and learning effective and lasting. We recognize that teacher-student relationships are strengthened when expectations are clearly defined and enforced. Therefore Trinity Lutheran School employs a school-wide Behavior Plan that provides consistency and clarity to the standards of conduct required.
Teachers always spend the first days of school introducing and rehearsing classroom procedures and rules with students. All classroom rules reflect the following guidelines:
Be kind to others
Take care of our school
Follow directions
Each classroom utilizes a Student Behavior Chart containing a series of colored cards for each student. As infractions of classroom rules occur, students will be instructed to change their card to the next color. Each color designates an accompanying consequence:
Green Level is a Great Day!
Yellow Level is a warning!
Pink Level is a Note home and 15 minutes of indoor recess detention
Blue Level is sent to Principal and parent contacted
(When the Blue Level is reached three times, a conduct notice will be issued.)

As partners in education we are confident that you will support the schools efforts in carrying out these procedures which will contribute to a positive and productive school environment for us all.
