Trinity
Lutheran School offers one of the very best educational experiences available, addressing a child's academic, emotional, social, physical and spiritual needs. Our highly qualified and dedicated faculty provides a challenging curriculum while nurturing each child to grow in God's grace. Resource classes in German, Technology, Media Center, Music, and Physical Education, as well as many after-school activities, broaden each child's overall development.
Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS) schools have always been known for their nurturing Christian atmosphere and high academic standards. Ask any military family who has utilized Lutheran education in various parts of our country and they will attest to the consistent quality offered. The majority of Lutheran school students score well above the national average on standardized testing, and are recognized for their well-rounded development. Other schools in our community, from Norfolk Christian to St. Pius to Norfolk Collegiate, are always delighted to receive the well-prepared students from Trinity Lutheran who always excel in their next school experience.
Trinity's faculty is well aware that in order to provide the very best education for our children, a continual learning process is key, for them as well as the students. Therefore professional development is an important part of our program. In addition, Trinity is re-accredited every five years by the National Lutheran School Accreditation Commission (NLSA), developing and maintaining an ongoing improvement plan.
Student/teacher ratios are small, ensuring that students receive all the special attention they require. Primary classes utilize teacher assistants and students are well supervised in the lunchroom, on the playground, and on field trips. Trinity Lutheran School recognizes the extremely important job our parents entrust us with and we endeavor to meet the very highest of standards.
